Educational aims

This course is divided in two modules: Labour economics (6 CFU) and Labour economics (2 CFU).

Labour economics (6 CFU) seeks to understand the functioning and dynamics of the labour market, through the analysis of the interaction of workers and employers. Labour economics looks at the suppliers of labour services (workers), the demands of labour services (employers), and attempts to understand the resulting pattern of wages, employment, and income.
Labour economics (2 CFU)
To be  agreed with the teacher.

12.    Unemployment

Module 2 – Labour economics (2 CFU)

Teaching methods

Lectures, case-study discussions and invited experts.

Examination

Labour economics: written exam. At the end of the module of 6 CFU there will be an exam reserved to the students who attended most of the lessons.
