Educational aims
The course is about the European private law, taking into account the drafting, regulatory impact assessment and implementation of European law as well as the national sectoral fields affected by EU interventions
Content of the course
1. EU institutions and functioning after the Lisbon Treaty
2. EU primary and secondary law, and ECJ decisions.
3. European private law: concepts, rules and harmonization
4. Competition law
5. Company law
6. Consumer contract law
7. Product liability
8. Intellectual property rights.

The attendance is optional.
Teaching methods
Lectures, analysis of case law and exercises of cases.
