Educational objectives
The course offers to the students the foundamental knowledge about the entrepreneur and the companies.

Content of the course
PART I – COMMERCIAL LAW, I
1. The entrepreneur and the enterprise..
2. Partnerships, copartnerships, limited partnerships.
PART II – COMMERCIAL LAW, II
1. Stock company and limited company.
2. Cooperative company.
3. Groups of companies.
4. Fusion and other extraordinary transactions.

Prerequisites
Proven knowledge of the Civil Law.

Teaching materials
It is essential an updated edition of the Civil Code.
It is also recommended:

G. COTTINO, Diritto societario, CEDAM, Padova, latest edition;

Teaching methods

Examination
The exam is oral. Before the oral exam, the students have to pass a written selection. It is given to students the opportunity of two written intermediate examinations and of a written examination at the end of the course.
